5 Ingredient Bagels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 egg white

  • Optional toppings: Cinnamon Sugar, Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel

Makes 4 bagels

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt

  2. Mix in Greek yogurt with a fork/spatula. Dough will be clumpy.

  3. Transfer dough to a lightly floured countertop. Knead and turn dough ~15 times (until dough is relatively cohesive)

  4. Divide dough into 4 equal sections. Roll into 1 inch thick rope, connecting ends.

  5. Whisk egg white and brush egg wash on top each bagel. Top with your favorite seasoning, if desired.

  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting, center will be doughy.
